The forum is actually active and only needs cosmetics done.
I actually suggest that people start to post there or copy any posts that you want to keep.

Jacob from team Balthazar has been hard at work building us a new website that is going to launch in the next week or 2. There are still some things to finish up, but I figured I would give you all a preview. www.newenglandrally.com/newFeel free to post any issues or bugs that you find. Don't worry about that latin stuff on a couple of pages. That's going to go away. If you have any options that you would like to see added to the site feel free to post that as well. AND we will be hosting our own forum now so be prepared for this one to go away soon. www.newenglandrally.com/forumIf you want to get a headstart on the new forum feel free to sign up now.

Karoline and I are going to leave around 5and we should be in CT around 7-7:30.
We are going to check in then go get some dinner. If you guys want to meet up around the hotel that would be cool.
I'm pretty sure we are going to be meeting up with a few cars before we head down.

Maybe we can meet these other (Northern) guys around HARTFORD for dinner. OR have them meet us @ something like Jimmy Buffet's in the Mohegan Sun?

I think we are going to be cancelling this.... Sorry to say, but as time is getting closer, i think night before the rally we might still be doing some prep and such...
We might be game to meet for dinner somewhere, but just don't have time to prep for a BBQ...

I'd like to, but I'm not getting out of work until 5pm that night and then driving towards albany until I pass my co-driver coming at me. So unfortunately I don't think we will be able to make the caravan down.

Anyone want to meet up and cruise down to CT together Thursday night? We are plannin on leaving around 5. We should be there around 7 or so. This gives plenty of time to check in and go get some dinner.
We can meet up on 95 in Woburn to make it central to everyone.

Actually Sean I decided against track events mid rally. When we went to NED we lost 3 cars due to breakdowns. I felt bad that not only did they lose out on the $ they paid for the event and their car is broke, but they need to figure out how to get their car home. If they happen to be from far away they are screwed. Yeah.. Thats why I didn't like NED.. I was afraid Dusty was going to blow the tranny in bluebee..

The rally cross may work though, but there is still a chance of breaking your car and not being able to finish the rally. That would suck.
Still... it's an option and I do like the idea. I think it woud be fun.

I want some track time too, but I want a Louden type of track lol. The only suck part of that is the price tag that goes with it. Sean I completely agree, however, unless you piggyback the rally on top of some existing scheduled driving event, the costs would be completely unaffordable. Most track events are $225-$350 per day depending on location and what's included. Many tracks are booked several seasons in advance. Some like Lime Rock are real pains to deal with. This one deals with Louden, NHMS www.comscc.org/events/

The first time I was this nervous, I was watching my ex walk down the isle towards me. The last time I was this nervous, she was standing on the other side of the courtroom. More blurbs like this. Something we can use on the website as participants thoughts. Not 1 liners lol. THen it would be "SOMEONE ELSES" quote and not our own.
