I'm going to be getting a Digital scanner and CB over the winter. I have the hand helds, but now it's time to go hard wired.
Thermal camera is on the list of "some day".
Looks good though. Good choice.

Nice. I'm going to pick up a nice digital scanner and CB after the holidays. It don't look like the thermal camera is going to be in play this year. I'll make that my mod for 09 lol.

That's the construction signs that are around. I get them now and then when I pass one. I also get them when I pass the guys doing the laser ground surveys.
I wouldn't trade my rx-65 for anything. Even a V1. It's proven its self to me time and time again.

As my V1 has proven it's self to me over and over and over again. And every year or two you just send it in to the place pay a small fee, and it is updated with all the lated bands and technologies. Well worth the money in my opinion.

Thats weird... Take it back to where you purchased it and they can send it back to ESCORT for repair and reflash. Don't wait though as I believe repairs are FREE for only the 1st year. It took mine a little over 2 weeks to get back. I dealt with Auto-Audio in Westerly. Where did you get your scanner Noah?

V1's are really good but if you can afford it check out a K40 caliber system. I got one installed at the end of the summer (with the laser diffuser too) and i think its even better than a V1. Plus, its integrated into the car with only warning LED's showing- you control it with a bluetooth remote.

Now the new K40 system is something worth looking into for me... I love it, bluetooth is everywhere now...

So I would have to pay to send it back... Which I am willing to do if it means its going to work right.. Or i'd be interested in seeing if they have a trade in plan to bump me up to the 9500... And I bought the scanner off of Somebody on Nasioc as well... Works pretty well, but on the rally i will be running a whip antenna, as the a pillar antenna's reception is rather weak.

Static, what's RTC? Also, I never heard of jamming ENRADD. The cops by me use that, so a jammer would be useful. Congradulations on an impressive set up. It reminds me of Alex Roy's M5.
