So guys and gals, this is for every member who feels like replying...
What was your NER 08 experiance? Sean can say it was great, which it was...but our voices will attract other members, more interesting automobiles, and spread the experiance that is NER...
I personally thought it was the event of a life time...but luckily Sean and his lovely lady plan these events for each year...so we get to live large and party like rockstars every year.
we learned alot this year, and ran into many challenges, but i feel from the vibe i got from the participants, we all had a great time. The comedy club was fantastic, as was supper at fire and ice (even though this moron fell asleep and missed it, got some later though!) the fantastic route, and the great attitude of all contributed to everyone elses experiance!

Had a great time and as usual it was an adventure. I think the night drive across RT2 was great, and the checkpoints were scenic (some in one way, like the Shaker Village & Historic Forts and some in other ways, like HOOTERS). I particularly liked the twisty roads leading through the salt marshes out to the fort on the Maine coastline....very cool. The event seemed to run even more smoothly than last year, which is a good indication that Sean is listening to everyone's input and trys to correct previous issues along the way. Here's to hoping next year will be even beter still. Thanks again to Sean, Karloine, and all the dedicated volunteers that helped make this event happen!!!

I had an awesome time. Like I told Sean...this year was by far the best, and I agree with Gabe that the group this year was far better.
I had probably the best weekend I've ever had...cruise around with awesome cars, get drunk with awesome friends, who could ask for more?
I walked away (well more like hobbled...my poor car) with new friends, new experiences (Fire and Ice ftw when I'm actually conscious) and unfortunately sad that it's over.
Can't wait for the fall run! Now...who wants to help fix my car? LOL

Highlights of the rally for me were... in no particular order:
The spooning at Tim Horton's.. Best hour of sleep EVER.
Ray, Carmen, their kids, Dom.. despite his room clearing gas.. There were a bunch of new people I really enjoyed meeting and hanging out with.
The people who've participated in the past that I look forward to seeing again every year.. Ryan, Eric and Anne Marie, the Z boys, Redd, Ducky, and anyone else I've forgotten to mention.
The ice cream guy who made a killing, but soooo deserved it for being a smarty and following all of us to the circle.
The BEAST of a silver truck being mistaken for a "grey pickup who got away from the Boston police the night before."
Fire and Ice, that scorpion bowl was just what I needed.
The amazing shower head at the Park Plaza... lol *sigh* I'll miss you.
All in all I was really pleased with the group of people who participated... other than all the speeding tickets.. *cough cough Sean cough cough*
Can't wait for next year!!

I had a great time. There were too many pluses to mention them all, but one of my favorites was watching the cars roll into the checkpoints and sharing stories with the other rally members.

I have to agree. The socializing at the checkpoints was great. Also the Deniro impression was by far the best I have ever seen.
