why? so he has something for the drive down? We stopped for gas like 2 hours before the hotel, and i think the case he bought was gone by like 9 lol... And I dont think the 18 pack Dmitry bought made it out of the parking lot.

And I dont think the 18 pack Dmitry bought made it out of the parking lot. At first this doesn't seem strange.... Then I remember that everyone arrived at 7:30 lol I'll tell you 1 thing. Those beers in the parking lot were the BEST tasting beers I have ever had! They went down smoooooooth.

It won't. To be honest... I was thinking about it. A strip mall parking lot don't cut it for me lol. Too bad though. That was a good idea.

Sean, the the Fort Kent Blockhouse was built in 1839, and Lake Champlain has a lot of really cool historical sites also. Just some ideas. Of course we would cover just about all of New England if we hit them in the same rally.

Hey guys, how about an autocross event at Devens AFB? They run events there all summer long. I haven't been to one yet so i don't know how it works. Most of the events i see are on Sundays. If that was the only day available i think it would be fun to have that as the ending location. Here is a link to a BMWCCA event i found coming up in September. I am thinking of going as a spectator just to check it out. www.boston-bmwcca.org/events/ultimate-calendarView.aspx?EventID=444

Didnt we already do Fort Kent? NO if you check the map for Fort Kent Maine, you'll see it's way up there in Maine. My daughter was going to go to the U of Maine in Fort Kent untill she found out how cold it gets and how much snow they have in Winter.

So i have to ask... Is a website revamp in the works? Because I have to be honest... I know a few people that wanted to do it, but were very skeptical about it because of the look of the website.
If you want help, just ask. I do some web design.

I do agree Sean, the site/graphics are starting to look dated. I know money is tight but it might be worth while investing in an updated site/graphics/user interface to bring in some more interest to the sight so they don't think it's hosted by some kid working out of his mom's basement : )

Yes I would like to redo the website. I do agree that it needs a new look.
The thing is that I have had a couple of people in the past working on the site for me. They always have their vision on what it should look like and get offended when I don't like something. I found it easier to just do it myself.
I guess It's time to give in and get it redone.
I told you a while ago Ash that if you want to redo it I'm all for it. I don't know what you have for free time, but if you are up for it feel free.
Anyone that wants to rebuild the site feel free. I can always give you the ftp info once we come up with something that I like, but you have to realize that your visions and my visions may be 2 different things. If you can accept that I won't like everyting you suggest we can make it work.
Now the only problem is that I need to be able to make updates so it can't be in flash because im an idiot with flash.
It needs all of the information on the FAQs AND the first "Join" page. I also want to use the payment page that is up now.
Need: I want to keep my logo. You are welcome to redo it to look better. You are welcome to try different looks for it, but I want the same thing. Winding road, 1500 mile road sign and New England Rally. I don't mind adding cards or something to it, but THAT is the theme I want to use. I also like the colors, but I am not 100% anti changing them.
A participants page so people can keep track of who is registered. A sponsors and supporters page An FAQ page Maybe a participants profile page that they can update Pictures from past events and the ability for users to upload pictures and video A main welcome/basic info page with pictures taken on the events that I can change at will.
If someone is up for the task let me know and we can work on getting a new site up.

No worries bro... I learned how to build web pages in Notepad about 20 years ago lol. I'm old school HTML as you can tell from the site.
All this new stuff for web design is wayyyyyyyyy beyond my skills.

How about something along the format of this site (below) as far as automatic slideshow images of past rallyes, etc, to catch someones interest. www.hookedondriving.com/home.cfmSomething more interactive. FTW I'm in the same boat as you Sean when it comes to modern web design. Maybe take this photo and see if you can get a video loop of that road. Or go back to Smuggler's Notch and see if you can get some HQ video of that road to use www.youtube.com/watch?v=uLuDhJ4HrUMJust a thought.... Anything to help grow your buisness.
