Many of you know that I'm working on a coast to coast run for 2010.
Who is interested in a 5 day coast to coast? Cost will be in the area of $3000.00. All hotels and meals will be covered for 2 people. We will leave Monday morning and arrive on the West coast on Friday.
If I can find a backer or if there is enough interest to cover it out of the entry fees we can end at the playboy mansion. The only thing on that is that the cost is $75,000.00 to rent the place. I did already get the ok on it, but it's a hefty cost to cover.
We can always end it at another place, but I'd really like to hang with Heff for a few hrs.

IF I had the money, which is doubtful, it'd be a blast. Then again my brother lives in CA so it might be worth the trip regardless.

Seeing that most of us that will be doing it will be coming back to New England, I may do a Coast to coast to coast. I'll set up hotels for every night and I'll have 2 sets of fees. 1 for one way and the other for round trip.

I can't wait to do coast to coast run, and I don't give a shit about playboy mansion, I would love to go there, but I don't think it's worth $75,000.00. First of all there is a good chance playboy mansion will be out of business by 2010. So lets spend more $$$$$$$$$$$$$ on hotels, food, hooters, race tracks and anything else you can think of

lol I agree. I can think of a lot of things we can do with 75k that would be even more memorable than a party at the mansion.

I would love to do this, I just need to know the date. I would have to start saving up awhile before hand. Unless I could sell a nut for $3k, lol.

Awesome. My oldest brother Mike is in Iraq right now, its his 3rd time I think. I have not seen him in a few years, but my dad got a letter from him a few weeks ago. I also have a few friends who have been over there and 1 is getting ready to head back.
Anyway, the playboy mansion would be nice. Heff better share lol. I have family in LA, who also own a Auto Service Shop. If you want to set something up, let me know. I may head there this summer.

$3k is a fine price and like you said Playboy Mansion or not, its still going to be worth it.
I told my cousin about this and he seems like he is interested. Hes wanting to buy a C5 Vette here soon and what better way to break the Vette in than a rally.
My other cousin Andy, who is part of my family in CA, has a Nissan 350Z. He wouldnt need to worry about getting home, he just has to finish the rally. I gotta run this by him. My whole plan for this is to have a S...(its gotta be a surprise), Corvette and 350Z team, all working together. Its going to be awesome....
We gotta stop in Indianapolis, so that I can show you guys the sights. I have been to so many cities, but to me, none compare to Indy. The food, the people and the atmosphere, its simply amazing. Perhaps we could look into stopping by the Speedway? There is also the O`Reilly Raceway Park that has some nice courses. Drag track or road racing, they got it all.

i agree punisher! way to much crying at the checkpoint at tim horton's! if you cant handle that you should 1.) not be doing this sort of thing, 2.) go on a road trip with the rest of the cry babies (AKA OLD PEOPLE!!) and leave the real driving to the people that enjoy the open road! coast to coast sounds good to me! playboy mansion mehh....las vegas....yea baby!! or end at laguna seca!!! !!!!!!!! i put in one vote for laguna seca who is with me??? or hell even willow springs!!

I like Hans` idea. Atleast we could stop there, because I really want to test the limits of the car that I will be bringing. I have an idea guys. www.trackattack.com This place has a racing school and indoor karting. Its on the southeast side of Indy and not too far from my house. Its not too bad on price at only $200 for the basic racing school package. Just an idea.
