Agreed, Mustangs are always a great addition to any car oriented event Lol. Its alway good to have a group of enthusiasts that enjoy your excitement for the same cars you enjoy. i looked at the pictures from the rally, you guys had a great variety, looks like you all have a great time. Ps. thank you for the warm welcome can't wait to see you guys on the road

We had a BEAUTIFUL Roush on the rally. I believe he is coming next August as well, but I can't speak for him.

that is a beautiful car. I just wish i could afford something as extravagant as that or even a Shelby. However my dream car is the 2004 svt cobra. though i wouldn't mind owning a f150 lightning. will we be making a stop by NE drag way? on this cruise? I have been reading all of the post previously posted. Im definitely in , just need to get a couple paychecks before i register. What colors do you have for vinyls , my car is black so silver or white is cool . we getting numbered and such?

I will have blue, red, yellow and white. They will all look good on the black. We will have numbers, NER logos, and maybe a single sponsor, but that is in the works.
Nothing is guaranteed yet, but if there are any sponsors on the cars it will be just the one and the sticker will go on the rear windshield of the cars.

What was the other rally you ran in?
You may be able to get 11. Veterans get first pick of numbers.

cool. i ran in a local car club's rally(cruise) it was just around Massachusetts, there was maybe 9 cars that actually participated, and was not organized anything like yours. I want to do some tsd rallys or something like that, I saw a conversation about a mount Washington summit race. that would be sweet. I was just talking to my buddy 2 days ago about how i want to find something like an uphill race.

Gas, dinner at Harts will prob run $20/person (not including drinks), then drinks at the Hotel (course that is just my German beer loving talking)
As for the regular rally in August, I think I dropped close to a grand (including gas), but I got crazy in Canada and picked up the tab for the RCR peeps that were out that night.

Aslo, what is your guy's record with the state police? lol any good stories? Very minimal tickets on the august rally... Dusty & Steph got tickets for 82 in a 55... I thought I heard 1 other person got a ticket, but im not sure about that.

Costs... Gas for about 300 miles, Dinner at Harts (Like Riot said, about $20.00 pp) Breakfast Sunday morning we can hit a local diner, maybe 10.00 pp, If you want to come to the wolf reserve Sunday there is a minimal donation required, but it's not much at all.
I figure that it will run me about $200.00 on top of the room for Karoline and myself.
For the August run over 1500 miles with drinks, snacks, gas (remember.. I drive a Z, baaaaad on gas), I spent about 800.00 total.
The best story I heard was Dmitry got held back by a state trooper at 65 for 100+ miles till he finally got off. Then another one got one and kept him there for another rediculous lengh of highway.
I wish someone got that on film.

Hope to make this event! Race motor is being finished up and it will be a great break in cruise for it. Also hope to bring my team driver (My sister) and get her some time behind the wheel. Looking forward to the 08 run too.
What happens if you break down? I own a few DSM's and most of you know the history of them. I plan to prep it bullet proof as possible but we all know how that goes.

HAHAHAHAHAH now THAT is funny. Jake rocked. Every time he had issues someone was there to help or pulled over to see if they could help.
If you break down people usually stop and help out. We don't have any repair trucks or anything like that so it's basucally... don't break down lol.
Make sure your car is running as close to 100% as you can.
