Guys the wife and I had a great time doing the run with you guys. Gotta say that i was a bit worried about the weather starting out but then late friday night and all through till the end was perfect weather. it was great to meet so many great people and we will be seeing you again next year too. best parts were the night run through the mountains with the evo and those lights in the lead and heading to the last stop with those crazy bikers.... 140 on 95!!!! course one of them might have hit 180 but still a blast. As far as tickets i almost got nabbed 5 min from my damn house but the cop decided that it must have been the minivan that had set is radar off at 95 and not the stickered lil black two door. oh and yea got home at 11:43 sunday night btw. lots of driving but it was SO worth it. Great to meet you & the wife finn... Was fun driving with you. I think your wife thought I was nuts for rabbit hopping around Subway Parking lot at 1 in the morning....

Definitely had a blast at this event, it was great to meet so many cool people. Cant wait for the next event and we are already researching some mods for it. We stopped at a gas station not to far from the hotel when we were leaving. Joe was turning the car around in the parking lot, and we heard something snap and a small screech. We thought something fell off at first, but the tabs that the rack bolted up to on the k member broke off completely.

For my half of the biker team I had a blast, But I could not have done it with out the help and support of all of you. Super extra props go out to Dimitri and Noah. Without those megawatt lamps we would have ran into a deer and then a moose.
I will try to get more bikers for next year. With two nights of sleep the next rally will be a breeze.
***Extra thanks to Sean, The route was awesome and super intense. I will never forget riding into the sunrise through downeast Maine ;D

Does anyone know Joe with the silver Mustang? On the way back from the hotel his steering rack fell off and had to wait for a tow truck. Just wondering if he made it back ok. Dave and I stopped. He works for a towing company and a flatbed was on it's way... 4 hours way...

Does anyone know Joe with the silver Mustang? On the way back from the hotel his steering rack fell off and had to wait for a tow truck. Just wondering if he made it back ok. He called me a little while ago. He made it home and is going to bed lol. He didn't mention his steering rack though. How the HELL does that even happen? The tabs that hold the rack to the K member broke. My co driver and his co driver had to turn each wheel by hand so he could park the car since the steering didn't work.

MY vote for the HARDCORE RALLIER awards this rally were definately both the bikers and the crew with the HEAVILY MODIFIED, red mustang. My hats off to you sir, you accomplished what many would never have thought possible and you are a real inspiration. Hope to see you all again next year, it was a blast ridin with you all! Sean L.

Rob and Jason get my vote as well! Nothing but smiles from ear to ear the entire weekend out of those 2. When I saw Rob drive up to the B&G club I said "That's got to be the sexiest wheelchair I've ever seen in my life!!" I'm in awe at how he didn't let his lack of mobility keep him immobile. Big props to them both for coming with us and I definitely hope to see them next year. Favorite part for me? The Trapp family lodge. Just... amazing. I want to retire there!

Adam: Thanks for hosting us crazy tired drivers. Karting was a blast, really hope to get back up there at some point. I'm guessing you were the one in the red shirt organizing the races? - Ashley Correct. You guys were one of the best groups I have seen there. I wanted to leave with you all and finish the rally! I talked to the mechanic at Maine Indoor Karting about doing this rally next time around, or maybe next year, and he said he was in for sure! I joined this site just because the whole idea is awesome!

Nice! Yeah we also have a Fall and Spring run as well, and I'm sure we'll have something in the winter.

Sean, I really second your vote for the red mustang as hard core - not to take any props away from the bikes at all, but that was an amazing setup and I just hope they come out with us again as well as the bikes.
It was a GREAT group this year, and I know for sure I will be back again, and again, and again...
Thanks to all for making this year so much fun
-Dave

Does anyone know Joe with the silver Mustang? On the way back from the hotel his steering rack fell off and had to wait for a tow truck. Just wondering if he made it back ok. We made it home just fine. Got home about 8. Steve already has the upgrades picked out. Hopefully we can take my car next year, but we will be there for sure either way.

Oh ya. It was an aftermarket K member that broke, not a Ford part. And we averaged 22 mpgs even with crappy 91 octane. Other than that the car ran great, and thanks for the props guys. Just for the record, I wanted to pass the Mach I and the RX8 on the way to the Indian reservation, but Steve begged me not to. I don't know if I would have pulled it off, but I really wanted to try.

which RX silver (mine) or the white one?

The white one. The Canadian. It would have come down to top speed. I saw him drive and I know he's got all the nerve in the world. I think Steve's car will red line in 5th. Should be about 155-160 I think.

Raags car is FAST... I was passing a car, and was doing a high rate of speed, and he did a flyby passing ME as soon as i got over that made me think i was standing still... And it sounds SO DEAD FUCKIN SEXY.

Yea, when we were talking about bring stuff across the border he said the turbo alone cost him $7,500. That is such a nice RX-8. After we climbed up to the top of Mt. Mansfield on the toll road, Raggs said that was only the 2nd time the car had seen a dirt road, the 1st time being at the 2nd CT lake the night before : P
