Good morning everyone!
A quick note to let you know that SCCNH will be holding a Fall Foliage Scavenger Hunt Rally on Saturday, October 24th, 2009. You'll be able to start anywhere, you just need to end up in Colchester, VT. The list of items you'll need to look for will be posted on the SCCNH web site (www.sccnh.org) at 8pm on Friday, October 23, 2009.
At the conclusion of this exciting event, while the results are being computed, everyone will be treated to a private tour of the workshop at Vermont SportsCar - the home of Subaru Rally Team USA! You'll have a rare chance to check out the amazing 2009 Subaru WRX STi rally cars driven by 4-time Rally America Champion Travis Pastrana, Gymkhana Ace Ken Block and BMX legend Dave Mirra - all SRT-USA team drivers!
Awards will be presented to the top 3 teams finding the most items on the list! The entry fee for this event is just $25 per car load (bring your entire family, Uncle Will & Aunt Bessie and all your friends!) and it includes the tour of Vermont SportsCar as well - all proceeds will go to SCCNH. I've also attached an event flyer (a PDF) to this E-mail for you to check out or you can visit www.sccnh.org for more details on the event as well as on-line registration.
By the way, if you'd rather not participate in the Scavenger Hunt portion of the event but would still like to join us for the tour... you're more than welcome to do so, all we ask is that you still pay the $25 entry fee - please arrive at Vermont SportsCar, located at 382 Hercules Drive, Suite #4 in Colchester, VT 05446 (not far from exit #17 off I-89) between 2pm and 3pm - the tour will get underway at 3pm.
Also, for those of you interested in getting together after the event for dinner, there are numerous restaurants close by as well as lots of hotels and motels for those who would like to make a weekend out of it!
We hope you'll be able to join us on Saturday, October 24th, 2009 for the SCCNH Fall Foliage Scavenger Hunt & Rally and a tour of Subaru Rally Team USA!
Take care,
Paul Giblin - SCCNH
