The 4.0 update for the trapster iphone app brings a few features that seem handy for rallies. It allows you to add buddies and you can view their location in real time like google latitude. You can also send messages and get turn by turn direction to that buddy. Also it can track your trip and post it to facebook and twitter. Hugh, looks cool when we have service but if its like last year that wont be often. I might be getting a Droid soon. Hopefully they update that app.

It wouldn't be a NER run if you didn't lose cell and gps service a few times.

ive got the droid htc like the phone but takes some geting used to just got the trapster app and it seems to work well on droid.

dunno i never lost GPS last year. had a lil trouble with the broadband but always had GPS

yeah.. our GPS was pretty damn accurate last year too.. And other than at the dam, i dont think we were without cell reception much at all..
