I expect that during the NER my Evo will be trackable by following AltF4Racing at Gmail dot com.
I am reluctant to set up Latitude with my personal gmail account and before the event since I am sure I will fail to turn it off and even as boring as my life is, I am reluctant to let anything track my whereabouts (there is enough of that out there already).

This is actually a great idea. If you have internet on your phone PLEASE set up a latitude account so the checkpoint people can have a way of tracking us (when they have service).
This will make life a LOT easier on them if they are waiting for people to roll in.

I leave it off 99% of the time, but i have it set up on mine
I'll probably sign in with the altf4racing one that Nerdy posted for the rally.
with what i've heard, i wonder how much of the rally this will not work due to no signal.

I guess that really depends on your carrier. I use T-mobile so I'll lose signal or be in roaming regularly.
Verizon network usually has coverage for a lot more of the run.
