Is there a right or wrong way to decal the car for sponsors? Are there basic guides that show you where to put decals for suggestions (hood, quarter, c pillar, etc...)
Looking for guides or ideas.

You'll get an idea when you get to the start of how to decal the car... Usually there is a basic guideline to follow...

I know for some rally's, like STPR, they hand crews a layout of a generic car with sponsor stickers on left/right front/top/back, along with the sticker pack. Sean, it might be a good idea to do this. Each team gets a sticker pack in an envelope / bag, along with "required" layout. Then you can award your most generous sponsors the most prime space, such as front hood, and larger sticker/add size, etc.. THe smaller sponsors get smaller stickers, in a less noticable location, lower fender, door sill, etc. (Sponsor sticker sizes = small, medium, large) Just a thought.

i like that idea sean! makes sense, because am sure that some sponsors are giving more money than others.

Yea I would like to know roughly what the requirements are (if there are any) ahead of time. I think Garth and I are going to make some decorative/team inspired vinyl ahead of time for the car, and if there are requirements for placements of the sponsors we would avoid putting our vinyl there.

That's actually the plan for next year Sean. This year we will do it like in the past. I'll give you stickers and you make it look good.
If you look at the pictures from the past events you will get an idea of how the cars usually look.
That is going to change for 2011. You'll get a picture with the sponsor and NER sticker locations mapped out for you.
