Ok so it looks like we have a few big thunder storms coming through tomorrow. Look here. www.accuweather.com/forecast.asp?partner=accuweather&traveler=0&zipcode=03101&metric=0This is the weather site that the pilots live by so it'spretty accurate. I have another checkpoint in mind, but it is a ride.... a nice looooong ride. There is nothing there, but it is just a pretty cool place to see. I can make it happen, but I need to give my checkpoint girl notice. My question to you guys and gals is do we blow off the dragway and go for a nice long ride or do we chance the rain and go to the dragway anyway? If it rains while we are there we won't be able to race on a wet track and we will have a long wait because the next checkpoint girl won't be where she is supposed to be until midnight. Either way I'm up for it, but I figured I would see what you guys would prefer. I'd hate to get rained out, but I'd also hate to not go and have it not rain. Either way I have to make the decission by the morning. Opinions? Scenic drive or chance the dragway?

How could it be a scenic drive if it's in the middle of the night? Just curious.

It's not the middle of the night. It's from afternoon to night.

Is there a way to head to the track, but if it is raining to move to the new spot?

The dragway is seriously strict on it. If there's one drop of rain the track is C L O S E D. We won't be racing, so standing around in the Sun for hours isn't my idea of a good time. I voted for the drive to the secret location. Especially since we don't get our money back if it DOES rain. 70 percent chance of thunderstorms isn't good odds.
On the other hand there are a bunch of cars I'd like to see race. lol

I would love to make some passes, but I am not the boss, this isn't my rally, course driving in the rain blows. If we hit roads that are not highway and have big puddles I have to back out, cuz sucking air into an intake that sits close the ground is a bad thing. Plus Pete need nappy time! But I shall follow the leader.

I'd rather not add extra driving onto the trip. lol...I'd rather take a nap at the Dragway too.

The thing is... If we go to the dragway and it is closed.. and we get there at say 4:30-5:00... I would prefer to NOT sit there untill 10pm.
We could be driving and having fun in the rain lol.
No we can't do both it's either 1 or the other because the checkpoint girl has to leave more than an hour before us.
Although... I could always give you guys your next checkpoint locations and you can nappypoo... and those of us that want to cruise can go for a ride. The rest can meet us at the next checkpoint at 1am muhahaha We will see how the weather goes tomorrow am and I'll play it from there.
If the dragway is going to be closed get your asses ready for a long ride. If they will be open we will go chance the rain and hope for the best.

thats probably the best idea...those who want to go on the extra drive can do that, and those who dont want to, can sleep and head to the next checkpoint, or whatever...

Sleep / Drive....
Let's the cards (or dice for Sean) fall where they may.
We don't know the check points, so you send us where you will.
