Hey everyone! I want to thank all the rally participants who don't bitch about a minivan parking next to them. ;D Sometimes I guess I drive it like I have to prove that I belong in a rally. I have been referred to on this forum as a maniac and crazy and I hope folks are using those terms in an affectionate way. In the event that my driving style made fellow drivers uncomfortable sharing the asphalt with me, I want to apologize to them if I spoiled their drive. I also want to thank my ex-wife (whose van it is) for sitting in the passenger seat relatively quietly while I got my ya-yas out at the expense of her automatic transmission. All you guys are great for welcoming an "elderly" couple into your circle and not making us park on the other side of the parking lot. For the folks who truly think I'm a crazy maniac, you should be thankful that I don't enter a Mini Cooper instead of a Mini Van 'cause I would most likely drive between your wheels! I can't wait to "school" a new group of drivers next year! Chris (Does that thing have a hemi?) Abbott

Pshh, crazy maniacs are the best!! It's all in love, Chris. You and the viagra van or whatever you and Shiela decide to drive are always welcome! I'm proud to have that beast parked next to the Z! Not many mini-van drivers would or could keep up with us!
I don't think anyone thought of either of you as "elderly" Don't you have to be like 80 for that??

If he is elderly then I am right behind him! I consider it a compliment whenever anyone calls me crazy or maniac.
Hell we were thinking of renting a RV to go on the rally! Party in the back driver in the front!

I'm dying for someone to come in the A-team van, the Mystery machine, the General Lee.. Something themed or kooky ya know? If they came in costume... All the better!
