Does this have any legs??? Swift Motorsports is doing a toy drive if anyone is interested. That time is almost upon us guys and girls! When: DECEMBER 8th 2007 Where: Swift Motorsports Time:9am - 4pm or later Address: 251 west thames street Norwich, Connecticut We have had a PHENOMINAL time in the past with an un-real turn out for these kids and families tons of cars, dyno runs available as well. This would be a good time for a New England get together. I have been talkin to Tommy on CSC and we were talkin about combining our Toys for Tots Drive this year. We have been working with OSD and Vortex and a few other forums, so this would of course be another great presence to add to South Eastern CT's Toys for Tots Campaign! Be sure to come out and have a great day with the Family, we always have Great Food, Hot Chocolate, and an awesome atmosphere!!! Food List: SODA OR WATER [daleclough] CHIPS [daleclough] HAMBUGER PATIES HOTDOGS HAMBUGER BUNS HOTDOG BUNS CHILI COOKIES COFFEE SALAD TOMATO/LETTUCE/ETC... BAKED BEANS POTATO SALAD PAPER PLATES - 2subiesinyard PLASTIC FORKS/SPOONS - 2subiesinyard BOWLS - 2subiesinyard CUPS - 2subiesinyard COOKIES SNACKS AND ANY OTHER FOOD ITEM IS WELCOME... For the ones that want to dyno, its gonna be a first come first serve situation. Dyno prices for the special event are $65.00 for AWD & $55.00 for FWD/RWD www.swiftmotorsports.comwww.netuners.comDale (originally posted by Skimobile)

I know it's all over the NESIC (New England Subaru Impreza CLub), CSC (Connecticut Subaru Club) forums, etc.... I was there last year at SWIFT and it was a great turnout...all kinds of cars, Mustangs, Dodge, Subaru, Audi, VW, Lexus, Nissan, etc.... If you would like to Dyno that day, call Geoffry @ 860) 823-1909...he can also give you the latest scoop on what's going on.

Sounds great! Any ages that they need gifts for more than others? Girls? Boys? Or am I just shopping blindly, because that tends to be a scary thing.

Based on the photos above I would guess toys for 10 and under should be about right. I looked at the Toys for Tots website and it didn't really say much about what toys...

I'm in on this.
Always do my best for Toys for Tots every year, and I could really use a Dyno pull to see where my car stands currently.
Barring snow/road salt, I'll be there.

They'll be happy for anything but it's been said before that older kids are often overlooked as people buy items for younger childern 10 or <. Just a thought. That said, ANY gift would be greatly appreciated.

I may be able to swing this.
How are the NH folks cruising down?
Since I shoot down I91, Dale, can we meet at the BBHOF?
What time would be good?
PS: Stupid question, how smart an idea is it to do a dyno run on snow tires? They are "S" rated (112 MPH) Winterforce radials.

PS. dumb answer... I dunno. Do you have your street tires on your "other" set of wheels?
Yes, BBHOF is good. I need to check with the boss regarding a time.

I figure we will head out about 9am. That will get us there around 11. We will be heading down 495 to 290 to 395.
We could head 95 or 93 as well. If we are going to meet up we can go any way that is good for everyone that wants to meet up.

Yup, brand new BFG tires on the Pony rims. 150 miles 1 way for me. We'll go down 91, direct route. Anybody in the 91 corridor can meet us anywhere along the way or at the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield MA, south side by UNO's.
