I'm curious, What's the reason for using the IR camera in your videos? I did notice the jammers light up when the lidar was on target. That would be bad if lidar had IR view lol.
I can see it now.. A new lidar with IR viewing screen. So they will not only get a JTG they would see your jammers.

WOW... Not as bad as I thought it would be. I thought it would run in the thousands. Last question I promise. Are they legal? ? When are you coming out with the cloaking device??? Oops, that was 2 questions..

Are they legal? ? www.guysoflidar.com/usa-laser-jammer-laws.htmlThese guys are pretty good. If they were illegal in our area I'm sure they would be listed here. I've been looking for legal status of LJs for a while and I have not found any RSAs about them in any of the states around here. I'm pretty confident that they are not illegal around here.

I believe radar jammers are illegal (interfering with the airwaves, etc.) but laser jamers are not since it is a light source. Like everything however, the rules can vary from state to state. For instance in VA or West VA, even radar detectors are illegal

For instance in VA or West VA, even radar detectors are illegal Radar jammers are illegal. They send out a signal that could interfere with Ka band's which is what airlines use to contact with the airports. FCC fears that radar jammers will interfere with this signal. Laser jammers however diffuse a signal and dont emit anything. And IFF you were to get pulled over "Officer, the label on the box says these are parking sensors." ;D ;D

Maybe the gov. should have used the jammer on the Philadelphia experiment. Their cloaking device didn't work so well.

I hear the Kligons tried installing a parking sensor on the kligon warship but couldnt master it so they just settled for a cloaking device. I heard the Romulans are trying to copy that as we speak (lol). Question...(I can hear Orange SS groaning in fear of my prospective purchase)-- How does laser jam Ka band, etc? Generally, I understand light/microwave frequencies (where they sit on the spectrum), but without getting too scientific, how does it work against something like Ka? Anyone? Bueller...Bueller???

Ka is radio and therefore cannot legally be jammed (federal Offense), but can be detected.
Laser cannot be detected easily and usually when it has been detected it is too late.
Luckily, you can legally jam laser in most states (no federal law against it since lasers are controlled by the FDA not the FCC).
