Actually I have already been considering the Fall Run. (If you are not aware, we do a Spring run, August run and Fall run) It will most likely be the last weekend of October. I'm thinking a cruise through some scenic foliage roads with a good ol' fashioned New England Clam Bake at the end.
I'll most likely work out something with a nice hotel some where so if people want to spend the night they can or they can head home after dinner.
Once the spring run is behind us I'll get working on that in more detail. I'll try to have info posted before the August run. If not before it will be shortly after.

i know most of y'all wouldn't be into this with your serious whip (unless you enjoy the WRC like i do ) but if you drive up Mt. Washington in october, you get phenomenal foliage! we did it in the escape last year and it was amazing. a nice trip up through franconia notch and around mt. washington, stopping for some good beer & food @ Moat Mountain brewpub would certainly suffice for me!

Doing a BBQ at the base and driving to the summit is an option as well. They have a sunset drive up the road. We spent the night at the Mt. Washington last year for the Fall run. I was thinking a lake or ocean side hotel this year with a feast on the beach.

I'll be at the spring run with my Mustang. Can't wait. Not long now. I've never been to Franconia Notch. Would be a nice ride.

I guess I could bring the fall run through the White mountains again. Maybe we can do a similar route as last fall (those that were with us will remember and a few people asked if we could do that same route again so they can see it when it's NOT raining).
Start in South Central NH. Maybe at Lake Massabesic this time and head out route 101 W to the Keene area and head north to Quechee Vt for a stop at the gorge. (cut out the farm this time). From there we headed to Meredith, NH then to the Mt. Washington hotel.
This time we can head up to the Kanc (rt 112) instead of Meredeth and make our way up to Bear Notch Road then over to West side road and through the mountains and end up in N. Conway at the North Conway Grand Hotel. I'll make sure we get mountain view rooms if we do that route.
That is option 1.
Option 2 would be that we head North from the start location to the Kanc via "the scenic route". Cruise the Kanc and then head West from there and end up on the coast of Maine at an oceanside hotel for a clam bake (with other options for those that don't like seafood).
I personally absolutely love the White Mountains and I could cruise them all day, every day, but there is nothing like eating fresh Maine lobster in Maine while watching the sun go down on the beach so either is good to me.

My faviorite road in the White Mountains... Hurricane Mt. Road, just off RT 16 heading North out of North Conway (Inverness) It's a right turn off of RT-16N. Heres a clip form a guy on a bike, its more fun in a car. Feels like a WRC stage. www.youtube.com/watch?v=vwpUA3pKc9c

this would be my first Fall Run. So, either one sounds good. Option 1 sounds like fun.

Hey Sean..what's going on??? Real men piss on the fires & just have their navigator sew them back up!!!! ;D..in place of Red Bull..RED WINE!!!!!Anyway, it's nice to see you guys have all these neat gadgets..the only thing I ran in the GAR was a V1, a sweet navigator, a set of balls, & with that, we were the first car from N.Y. to Vegas!!! Yes..I did get 3 tickets over the 3,000 mile run, but all 3 were in Kansas(where Dorothy is still looking for me!!!) near a construction zone..$700 & we paid it little by little!!!Our average speed was supposed to be 61mph..we averaged almost 89.. !!See you guys soon!!!! By the way the list of cars is starting to look impressive!!!
