First off, I feel like I am monopolizing the "Garage Sale" Section of this forum. I just have a lot of stuff I need to sell as soon as possible
I need to sell my 1991 Dodge Stealth RT/TT (AKA 3000GT VR4)
The engine is currently out of the car and will need to be reinstalled. The engine is complete it simply needs to go back in and I just don't have the time to do it.
-Only 86k miles
-3.0 liter Twin Turbo V6 (6G72 DETT)
-5 speed Getrag manual transmission
-All wheel drive
-All wheel steering
-Kalapana Black
-Black leather interior
-ECS cockpit adjustable suspension
-The exterior is in excellent condition for the cars age. It has practially no dings or scratches. The paint shines nicely and she's been washed and waxed religiously. The body is rust free and I have not driven it in the winter.
-The interior is in excellent shape, except the drivers seat which shows some wear on the bolster and has a rip across the seat bottom. I have wanted to get the seat re-upholstered but haven't gotten around to it.
The mods list for this car is pretty decent. I have tried to do things tastefully and simply improve on the already impressive performance of the car.
The short block has been completely rebuilt with new bearings, seals, piston rings etc. ZERO MILES ON REBUILD
The heads have been completely rebuilt with new valve stem seals, full valve job etc ZERO MILES ON REBUILD
The transmission and transfer case have been fully rebuilt with new synchros etc. 2000 MILES ON REBUILD
The Turbos have been rebuilt and have all new bearings and compressor wheels. ZERO MILES ON TURBOS
OEM Clutch, Throw Out Bearing, Pressure Plate, Flywheel all replaced 2000 Miles ON PARTS
NEW timing belt, oil pump, accessory pulleys, belt tensioner spark plugs ZERO MILES ON PARTS
OEM coil springs (car was lowered, too low for Maine roads) 2000 miles on parts
The car has:
MSD DIS4 ignition box with 2 step rev limiter
MSD 8.5mm Plug wires
Ek2 development fuel rail loop (provides equal fueling to the front and rear bank)
3" 3SX performance downpipe
Custom 3" single exit exhaust
Magnaflow stainless steel muffler
Blitz boost controller
APEXi turbo timer
White faced indiglo gauges throughout
CP boost gauge
SeattlePerformance short throw shifter
15G turbos (support 450whp with proper fuel)
Polished upper intake pipe
Sony CD head unit
Sony speakers
Greddy RS BOV
Custom mesh front grille
Fog lights deleted (allows more air to intercoolers)
1999 3000GT SL wheels (17X8.5)
Brand new (2000 miles) 245/45/17 tires
There is more I can't think of at the moment.
This car has been a project of mine for the last two years. It is not a sports car in the sense an Elise or an S2000 is. This car weighs 3800lbs. This is a grand touring car. It is quiet and docile on the highway, it has digital climate control, 10 way power adjustable seats etc, but when you want to play, spool the twins and it is very very fast.
I have invested a lot of time and money in this car and those who have seen it up close can attest, it is exceptionally clean and well put together. The driveline is all NEW and the body is a great foundation to build on.
I am asking $8000 but I will definitely entertain offers. This is way less than I have invested in the car (about half) and represents average market value for these cars right now. Put the motor back in (figure 8 hours or so) and you could sell this car for about $10,000. I simply don't have time or the ambition to do it.
