Greetings Frank (please extend my greetings to Matt),
How's things? How's the Mini family doing?
I see you aren't going to make it for the August run but I am hoping you can join us in the fall?
Great shots (as always) of the NEFR! I wish you could embed sound as well...
Cheers!

Dale, we took the Mini this year. We had a ball... 5 of us in two cars. The other was a 2007 STI "dressed to the nines". We are still planning to make it for the fall run... Regarding sound, it is coming :-) I did the stills and Matt did the HD video. We came back with more than 150Gb of video that we need to sort out, edit and compile. I will post a note as soon as it is on the site. Greetings Frank (please extend my greetings to Matt), How's things? How's the Mini family doing? One of these years I plan on picking up an awd or 4wd car so we can do some off road rallies. The Z just wouldn't cut it for that, but it looks like sooooooo much fun.

I'd love to do it as well but you can only race what you can afford to wrap around a tree. No matter how good you are with off road rally, it's not about if you're going to crash but when.
Nice pic's Frank!

thanks to my GPS, my desire to look at crazy remote real estate, and my own impetuousness, i've driven more on dirt roads in the past few weeks than i have in my entire life previously.
it's actually not that bad, i found myself getting more comfortable as i got used to the traction (well, the lack thereof, compared to nice sticky asphalt).
maybe Tim O'Neil's rally school in NH would be a good primer for off-the-road car control.
