I was thinking the same thing last night. I wonder who will be with us for this one. I don't mind a small group. It will still be an awesome ride.

You're skipping rt 118?

Yes. I figure we will take 91 to 112 and cruise 112 instead of 118. They are both great roads, but I prefer 112.

There is no cut off. As long as they either pay a day or two ahead of time they are welcome to join us.
They just have to let me know in this thread so I have a count of how many people we will have. I need to tell the restaurant how many people we will have a couple of days ahead of time.

I am still a bit unsure as to whether or not I can make it. If I don't do the drive, I atleast will meet up with people who are staying in Maine.

Hmmm this is pretty tempting, I'll say I'm "quite" positive at this point, might bring a few people in another car as well... Definite answer will be before the end of this weekend... Nothing like a 1,300 mile fall foliage run Can any of you locals suggest a good hotel spot near Quechee, VT? I was looking at the Super8 in White River Junction.. I figure I'd be willing to spend another $20-30 for a room 5-10 miles away vs. staying in Killington. For Saturday night I was looking at Days Inn in Brunswick, ME, only about $76/night

Also, what are average temps during the run? Sub 50ยบ? I'm debating whether to run my normal summers, or my performance winters.... Who would have thought 5 sets of wheels would be a problem!

lol. Well.. this is New England. It could be 50 or it could be 80 lol. Last year it was low 60s and raining like a SOB, but we also did the ride later in the month. I'm expecting semi warm weather for the ride.
We are not supposed to see rain between now and Oct 3rd so lets hope it holds through for another week.

I don't mind at all. Spread the word!
Just make sure anyone that plans to come with us signs up. I'm going to be using the participants list to let the restaurant know how many people will be with us.
