On Saturday October 11, 2008 We will hit the road again for another scenic day long charity cruise. We will be cruising a mixture of scenic highways and back roads of Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine during the peak of foliage season. We will be holding another 50/50 drawing seeing that the last one went over so well. The 2008 New England Rally Fall Run will begin at Quechee Gorge in Quechee Vermont. We will meet at the parking area just west of the gorge at 10:00am and depart from Quechee at 11:00am. Our first stop will be in Lincoln New Hampshire on the West end of Highway 112 (the Kancamagus highway). From there we cruise East up "the Kanc" and follow the back roads to the coast of Maine where we will end our journey at Cook's Lobster House on Bailey Island for dinner on the Ocean. Don't worry they serve food for people that don't eat seafood. Here is the route via Google Maps: tinyurl.com/46n7clKeep in mind that your costs are up to you to cover at dinner and to keep the false signups to a minimum we are asking a $30.00 vehicle entry that will be donated to the Boys and Girls Clubs. Click the link below to sign up.www.NewEnglandRally.com/fallrun.htmlIf you are going to come with us please plan to be at the gorge NO LATER than 10:00 am.

I'll be there. I can't believe we're actually traveling through "SUCKERVILLE" in Maine. Can you imagine ever living down a speeding ticket you got in Suckerville?

10/11 is my birthday so I might be able to swing this as my B-Day present. Just don't mention tickets to the wife (if she comes). I only told her about one of them. What happens on Mass, stays on Mass... : )

Sean you only got 1 ticket. Remember... the other is a free invitation to visit Maine with a tour of the local court house. The only downfall is that you have to pay them a LOT to let you leave.
What do you think... 3 checkpoints in Maine next year? LOL I kill me.
Dale.. He told the wife about the ticket... Not the invitation to tour the court house.

I am SOOOOO game for a TSD. Did one last year... Finished 4th in my first ever TSD. And that included a MAJOR screwup that put us 7 minutes off pace on the last leg (But I managed to find a shortcut to make up.. yeah try doin some of that math in my head)

Eric and I are about 90% positive we're coming, we're def. getting a hotel though in the area for Saturday night(can you say party? I can! *hint hint lolol*). That's a bit of a haul back from Main to New York after all that driving! Any recommendations?
