Finally peeled off most of the stickers today... My fingers are absolutely KILLING me... I was gonna leave them on... But the dealer might not like them on there when i go to trade it in...

not sure exact car yet, but looking around at my options for a subaru legacy... need more room, better gas mileage, cheaper insurance, & 87 octane...
Just changing from the STi to a legacy will drop my insurance by more than 65% a month.

Ok, I know the wife will not like this but any interest in a Mustang GT and some cash for your STi?
This is only "crazy talk" until I can get her on-board with the idea.
Thoughts?

Sorry... But i have negative equity in the STi, so i really need to trade it in to offset the equity...
I'd consider a mustang... but the other reason for the non turbo legacy is to prevent me from getting the mod bug... and just leaving the damn thing alone and driving it.

I here you. I just sold the evo last week because i know i will dump a rediculous amount of money into it like i did to my STi due to its slowness factor. Looking to go big for next year assuming the banks are lending any money:)

Yeah, i had a ton of money into my STi, then took it all back off because it just didnt drive the same anymore, and i just couldnt afford to keep dumping money into it...

She wasn't feeling to cool about it as I expected but I had to ask! Good luck!

I would LOVE a forester XT... But insurance companies are smarter than you would think. They realize its a turbo motor... And they adjust insurance as such. And while its still cheaper than the STi, its still more than the legacy.
And I want 87 octane... And I want to PREVENT myself from modding it. If I bought an FXT, it would be an FSTi within 3 months lol.

You could buy an ECHO! That would keep you from modding it...MODS DON'T EXIST : )

that's not true.
there's the driver mod, and the egg mod, and the roll-it-over mod.

You can always put a jet engine in ECHO, but i don't think insurance companies or the cops will like that and forget about 87 octane.

I was actually considering a yaris... But a friend of mine that lives in TX says there is some guy that shows up in a hatchback yaris to AutoX, with gutted interior, big fat R Comps, and schools everybody in Street Mod... Yes... I said STREET MOD... Says the car just flicks through the corners like nothing.
