I have an opportunity to escape the debt of the Mustang and am seriously considering it.
Although the monthly is not a burden (the budget is solid), I feel it's time and I am ready to pursue other paths (STi?) next year and the money saved over teh winter would help with a nice deposit.
Can (or will) anyone talk me out of this?
Thoughts/questions?

Sell the Mustang and get a TTZ. I can find you a nice modded TT for cheap money.

If I had 2 big fat turbos in the Z you would be a speck in the mirror But he'd pass you 8 miles down the road when you are waiting for the tow truck. ;D Then I'd pass the RX8 in the slow non-turbo legacy (If I get it this week) another 15 miles down the road when he has to stop to check the gas and fill the oil. ;D

You could buy Noah's and it would be win-win for both of you : ) Don't buy a 2008 WRX, they are poo-poo.

Tried with Noah, no good for him.... I am now really thinking of playing some more with the truck (a la Eric and Felipe)...

Are you sure? Why don't you put some brakes and suspension on the pony? We consistantly get better mpgs, and the v8 takes the abuse a hole lot better. If you want more power, its as easy as a phone call for a supercharger, well and the three grand.

Well, the folks involved could not meet at an agreeable deal so I drove home with her and a smile.
I'm happy. As soon as I saw someone else pulling out of the lot driving her I was a bit taken back and wanted out of the deal so I am glad it didn't work out.
See you soon (you'll recognize the tail lamps).
Cheers!
