I wonder if the $1200 is for hotels in EACH town, or just in vegas... This looks like alot of fun though...

Entry is $1195.00 per person (minimum two people per team) and includes the following:
* Full hotel accommodation * Party tickets for each city * Full Modball Rally sticker pack * Team packs & Itinerary * Las Vegas Awards Party
$2390.00 for 2 people and you need a minimum of 2 people. So it's actually $2390.00 to get in. It's an additional $1195.00 per person if you want to bring more people with you.

Overall, if you total up what you "could" spend, it's far less than anything else. The only close ones are the AKA and the NER with the NER being the least expensive.
Lindsay and I have talked about AKA this year but the move has put it on hold.
NER all the way in '09! Lookout for my team!

Ya for the week long cross country runs typical entry is usually a minimum of $2300.00. It costs a lot to do hotel rooms and food for everyone. Never mind the other things involved that cost money.
That's why we do a weekend run with 1 night of driving. Less costs to cover and less time to dedicate away from home.
The AkA is established and Chris puts a lot of work into the runs. He does a great job.
