So my wife and I will end 2008 with a substantial life-change.
I've taken a position with a company in Buffalo, NY and will be relocating later this year (yes, what little is left of it).
This does not impact my involvement with NER, just the "local" scene and smaller rallies.
I am writing to inform and to apologize if I've been (or seem to be) a bit absent from the daily goings-on. Please understand that the lead-up to this decision and the move itself is quite significant and will require a top priority.
I wish all of you a Happy Turkey Day and smooth transition into the throes of winter.
Cheers!

Good luck to you and the wife (I can say that now ) I hope you don't FREEZE up there. Just make sure you let them know ahead of time that you need the 1st weekend in August off EVERY year.

plastic on your windows is going to be your new best friend. also don't take off said plastic until oh about april or may... may would be better! My best friend Nitta lives up there and made that fatal mistake once of taking the plastic off with the first warm day of spring. Never again... it dropped down to twenty the next day!
Also there's Tim Hortons out the wazoo no dunkin doughnuts really or starbucks. when you order they do slang like double triple which is two creams three sugars... or however you take it. Cream first then sugar...
WEGMANS love it, it's the greatest supermarket ever, try salt potatos they're like amazing.
DONT CALL IT POP NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY! It's soda damnit :]
The Bills and the Sabers if you don't love them then don't ever say that outloud. It will probably mean your death honestly.
I think that's it. Oh snow get used to it there's a lot of it. It's been snowing almost non stop since mid-october up there :]
GOOD LUCK!!

Storm? Only if more than 3 feet fall in one day, ha!
Working out of Orchard Park and renting a house in West Seneca.
Any suggested hotspots?
