so when i first got the RX it came with a borla cat back, i want a base line dyno and just broke the 200 mark. sence then i have put on a AEM CAI, highflow cat and got rid of the resanator. There was a recall to have the ECU rcallibated not sure how much that played in to this effect. So i went to swift today and did another 3 pulls for 83.50 (tax and other things) And did very well i gain 30whp and 20wtq of the first run so i am no at 230/170. Not bad for having lil mods on the car.
What you guys got?

I had 385 ft/lbs of torque on mine before the tanny went BOOM : ) I later found out that the RA gears in the tranny were only rated up to 285ft/lbs....OOPS! That problem is being corrected right now and the rebuilt (bullet proof) tranny will be in route next week, along with new LSDs for front and rear. Hillclimbs here we come Those numbers sound pretty good for an RX-8!!!!

I just found the dyno sheet from my old setup... I was off a little...
At like 16 psi it did 484.44 WHP and 379.42 WTQ
I need to finish tuning the new turbo and setup and get back to a dyno, but I did go from a T3 exhaust housing to a larger T4 and put allot more work into the compressor and impeller to fit the turbo to what I want to do...

Thanks sean, ya te guy who dynoed the car tthis time and did it last time comes out and asked one question to me, what did i do to my car sence the last time b/c he was shocked i think more than me to see such big gains from 2 parts

my gt pulled 287 hp and 302tq on the schools dynojet. pretty much stock i run it pump gas and got a Cai and 3.73:1 gears in the rear. and fuel injector are a little larger.

Were all dyno runs at Swift? Also, just double check the Correction factor everytime you go...

I got 210HP stock, I can add a pulley, injectors, and a tune and hit 260. I've already got the pulley and tuning software. Not sure how much the catless downpipe frees up, but every bit helps!
