Two weeks ago I got an e-mail from Team O'Neil rally school offering a 25% discount for a 4 day rally school on Apr 21-24. Well after a day or two of thinking I borrowed my dad's credit card and registered for the school. Today was the first day. We got 8 people in the class all together and today we drove FWD WW. The school is ALL about let foot braking. First we had a class room session for about 30 minutes or so, after that we finally got in to the cars and started on a skid pad, than we practice slaloms, than they got the course a little wet and we practice more slaloms, after that we practice off set slaloms and after that they got the course wet again and we practice even more off set slaloms, the last in car training for a today was an accident avoiding techniques and than we finished off in the garage for about 30 minutes with one of the instructors explaining about tires, car parts, and repairs.

Dmitry, that's just AWESOME! If you're going to get into doing stage rallies, you can't get a better place to learn. If just one thing they teach you will keep you from putting the car into a ditch somewhere then it's already money well spent. Hope you have a great time. Let me know when you guys are entering the next rally and Dusty & I will both come help/support.
...as far as left foot braking, I started practicing that several years ago after talking to Tim Oneil at Wicked Big Meet. He basically said, only road racers right foot brake, and even then it's only to rev match on down shifts...you get much better car control by left footing it especially when you don't have the luxury of running the same 10 turns over and over and over again. I am MUCHO jealous : )

Yup... I left foot brake alot in the subie... Didnt left foot brake the evo this weekend because I was still getting used to it. It REALLY helps in the subie, especially with the brembo Knockback I get... Helps keeps the pads bedded against the rotor...
On another note... Long wheel studs are completely installed, as well as the Walbro Fuel Pump... Evo Fuel pump is soooo much easier than subaru.

I been using LF braking for a while now and now spending 2 days so far at team O'Neil I learned so much more about it and how to use it correctly. First half of the day we still drove FWD WW and the second half we moved to AWD Audi, what a difference with all that AWD grip. Today we spend most of the time practicing pendulum turn.
