I know that times are tough for everyone right now so to try and lighten the financial burden on everyone we will end the August run from the hotel Sunday morning after breakfast.
I switched the stops around a little and we can make it work so we still have 7 stops.
This will lighten the cost of fuel for everyone in turn saving some money.
You won't have to drive to the ending location then home and the hotel is only a few hours from home for most everyone.
I hope this helps out a little.
(Next year you don't get out of the 1500 miles though.)

Seeing that everyone has a good distance to travel to get home I figured this would help out a little.

As long as we get all 1,500 miles in before the end I'll be happy.
Last year's distance reduction was no bueno.

Your just about guaranteed for at least 500 miles of post rally driving. I drove around northern NH and VT for two days after the rally last year ;D

lol troopers.
We will be close Dale. Obviously not doing the last stretch will cut off some distance, but I'm sure you will get enough road time in.

Neither would I !!!!
I think that there are many hot spots up there, and if things worked out I could get my Aunt and Uncle out and show us some of her favorite spots in northern NH, and vT.

If anyone wants to hit Hurricane Mountain while they are in New England it is well worth the ride. It is in Intervale NH. Check this video out: www.youtube.com/watch?v=pb43Pu8UqhE this is Sean and I , Team Black Bike Bastards doing a New England shake down run

Just did some running on that road a few weeks back, that is my favorite road in New England,... Smugglers Notch road between Stowe and SMugglers Notch ski areas is my 2nd varorite driving section of road, big switchbacks and hair pins rounding huge bolders. There's also some great roads @ Okemo, Burke, Ascutney and Mt. Philo that they run hillclimbs on..... Mt. Philo is short but scarry. On Hurricane Mt. Road, I caught air at least 5x on the up hill drive even with the occasional slow downs or stops to let traffic clear or make sure there was enough visibility to see oncoming cars/bikes, etc.. ON the downhills its like, gass it, then tap brakes before the roll, the car gets light going over the transitions, hits the compression and launches over the next knoll like a ski jump : ) We had a BMW with us that bent his front fender/wheel well by bottoming so bad.

I will likely be making a drive up there in July some time just to see what all the hype is about. NEMS seemed to have a good route setup. I saved it on Google Maps. Everyone loves that road, i have never been.

Did Hurricane Mt on Saturday......WOW. LOVED IT. Got in some hot water with the wife. She knew we were going up to the mountains to have a scenic drive but wasn't expecting that. I wasn't really sure what to expect either but i was pleasantly surprised. Now i know why NEMS had the hurricane Mt bypass mapped out for lowered cars. I was in a stock C5 Z06 and scrapped the plastic underguard a bit. The good thing is that the next time i hit it up i wont loose anymore plastic....haha ;D
