Way to go, Sean. I wish more people would get involved... including myself. Oh, and if you want to update the "Throwback to 1999" website, PM me

I've tried redesigning the website several times, but that's a different story.

Yeah, like that has anything to do with the rally...
Sounds like he had a good time, but someone talked him into bad-mouthing it after the fact.

Do me a favor guys. Don't start a post war over there. Even though I'm slightly bothered by the posts from Patrick I'm not going to let it bother me. I know that people have fun and that the only reason that they didn't is because they spent 80% of the rally in a parking lot.
I also know how much it costs to do what I do and how far I make the $500.00 per 2 people that I had to work with go. I assure you that it costs a lot more than $250.00 per person to do what we do.
And that's with out paying any people to do the checkpoints. They get the hotel, event and food for free. Meaning tha tI pay for them. So that's 6 more people that I have to pay for out of my pocket.

I knew Russ wasn't real happy about his treatment in the 08 rally when I talked to him at the UCONN car show but,.... WOW..., I didn't expect to see others bashing on some other forum over it. Sometimes you just have to take the hard knocks life deals you and suck it up. FTW, the younger guy in the black G35 was recklessly driving (passing in breakdown lanes, jumping over to merging on ramps to get by cars on the right side, etc.), I can't speak for the EVO-X because I rarely saw them. The rest of the group of ~30 vehices were very good/mature/courteous drivers.

Occasionally you get the one or two people that drive like idiots, but its'a rare. I'm not worried about it. We will go on and this won't affect us in any way.
I'm just surprised to see how Patrick really feels. You learn something every day. I was expecting a completely different post from him then I see that. It made me wonder why he still posts here if he doesn't like me or my event or the people that participate in it.
That's too bad. I liked Pat.

I've been part of that forum for a few years. I thought there was only a restriction to create new threads not actual post. Things change though.
I was able to post up a few minutes ago.

Pat has replied to the thread over on the caddy board.
Dale, I would recommend posting on there letting them know that it was you who found that thread and not the OP on that board, so he's not getting called out for something that he didn't do.

I stated in my post that I followed my traffic log. I shared it with Dale because I figured he could appreciate it.

Gotcha. I just wouldn't want a potential new guy to think that he was called out by anyone since Pat thought he was the one who posted the link on this board.
