Hey all My name its Tom, many know me by my Honda-tech name Tbone, been building and racing Honda's for about 15 years. As of late I just had my 7th surgery as a result of getting hit in my truck in sept 06. I just had my 3rd major spine surgery with 8 titanium screws and rods. I have been out of the car game since the accident and have just started getting back into it all. I sold my Prostock Honda drag car and all its parts and now drive a Mazdaspeed6 everyday. I also have a Lotus Exige thats my replacement for the drag car. I only plan to keep it for the summer as I lose my cobra medical ins in Jan 2010. I hope to be bringing it to the 09 rally, if you guys can find some room for 2 spare tires, I think I can convince my co driver to let us take it..lol Anyway that me, I walk with a cane so you cant really miss the guy with a can driving a Lotus. I hope to meet all you during the rally and I can finally have some fun with cars again..

awesome! Welcome and best of luck with your recovery. My wife's also had three back surgeries (spinal fusion) so I know what an impact it can have. The Lotus would be great but you need to consider if it is a car you can be comfortable driving that kind of distance with limited breaks.

How big are the tires? I might be able to make room for 1 in my trunk. It just has to fit next to the sub :-)

.could always just pack a tire pump, a couple cans of fix-a-flat and hope for the best : ) Please don't sell the Lotus, that car is beautiful. If I hadn't pi##ed away so much on my car already I would have bought it from you.

I posted on the other thread, but I'm sure I can come up with room in my wagon for at least one, if not two spares.
Just have to tell the little lady to pack light....

Just have to tell the little lady to pack light.... Just do it on the phone. She's likely to punch you in the face for such a request.

Welcome Tom! Noah has been telling me about your cars and past every now and then when your name comes up... Good to see you were convinced to join.
I'm am extremely envious of your car... That's the one where "when I have the money, I'll buy it"
