OK im looking to pick up some new rims for when i drag SSR Professor SP1 Wheel 18x10.5 (rear) SSR Professor SP1 Wheel 18x7 (front) how do offsets work b/c i have no idea can any one help me out or even tell me what offset to use on my car with those rims, For those of you who dont know i own a 04 RX8 link to what they look like www.vividracing.com/catalog/ssr-professor-sp1-c-4542_5902_5959.html

Bobbie, I have some friends who used to drag race, and I thought about it. IF you want I have a set of extra FD rims that are 255X55X16 on 16X8 rims. For drag racing you want more sidewall than an 18 would provide you.
Despite not doing this much, I do understand that the sidewalls act to store energy and transfer it to the road. If you are interested in the rims / tires (never even put on the car). Let me know if you want to try them
