Mosler Land Shark With 2,500 Horsepower
Twin-turbo monster biting down on the road with 2,500 horsepower in a sub 2,000lb. body.
Intense Automotive Design (first we’re hearing of it) built a twin-turbo Mosler MT900 GTR XX with a claimed 2,500hp that is capable of running up to 305 mph! These specs are crazy bats*&t insane, almost outlandish. The Land Shark will be capable of running from 0-250 mph in 17.5 secs. Think about that for a second…OK, now you’re at 250 mph.
IAD will use a 381 cubic-inch engine, thought to be the LSX series of GM engines, but probably something custom, which will have the max horsepower at 10,000 rpm. The engine will be a technological marvel and extremely badass.
All-wheel drive, eight-piston liquid cooled brakes and a 90-lb. Trentek chassis will round off everything. There’s quite possibly too much to list about the car so we’ve attached the press release below.
As for what’s next, IAD plans to have Michael Schumacher test the car at the Nürburgring, while they are also scheduled to run the car at the Bonneville Speed Week later this year.
